IPL Photofacial
IPL Photofacial uses intense pulsed light to improve pigmentation issues. Reduces blotchiness and promotes a glowing complexion.
Advanced IPL Photofacial - The Smart Solution for Pigmentation and Redness
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacial is a non-invasive technology that uses powerful, controlled light pulses to brighten the skin, reduce pigmentation, and diminish redness caused by superficial blood vessels.
At Kayla Daniel’s Clinic in Kfar Saba, the treatment is performed using the most advanced IPL device available today, designed to deliver visibly smoother, clearer, and more radiant skin - all without surgery and with minimal downtime.
How Does an IPL Photofacial Work?
During an IPL session, intense pulses of broad-spectrum light are directed onto the skin at specific wavelengths.
The light targets two key components in the skin:
-
Melanin – the pigment responsible for dark spots and uneven tone.
-
Hemoglobin – found in dilated blood vessels that cause redness.
When absorbed, the light energy converts into gentle heat, causing controlled damage to the targeted cells. This process breaks down pigmented spots, closes small blood vessels, and stimulates collagen production, allowing the skin to heal and renew itself naturally.
The result? A smoother texture, more even tone, and healthy, youthful glow.
Who Is IPL Photofacial Suitable For?
IPL treatment is ideal for anyone who wants to improve their skin’s tone and texture safely and effectively, without harsh peels or aggressive lasers.
It’s especially beneficial for those dealing with:
-
Pigmentation spots (sun spots, freckles, age spots)
-
Redness or rosacea
-
Visible capillaries
-
Post-acne marks (brown or red)
-
Dull, tired-looking skin
The treatment is best suited for light to medium skin tones and is effective for both women and men.
Key Benefits of IPL Photofacial
Noticeable Results After the First Session
In around 80% of cases, most pigmentation and redness fade significantly after just one treatment.
Some clients may need a second session to achieve optimal results.
Brightens Pigmentation and Sun Damage
The focused light gently breaks down excess melanin, helping to fade dark spots, sun damage, and discoloration for a clearer, more even complexion.
Reduces Redness and Visible Capillaries
By targeting hemoglobin, IPL effectively shrinks dilated capillaries and minimizes redness, leaving the skin calm and balanced.
Improves Skin Texture and Firmness
Beyond tone correction, the energy stimulates new collagen and elastin, leading to firmer, smoother, and more radiant skin.
Gentle, Quick, and Virtually Painless
Each session lasts only 20 - 30 minutes, with mild warmth or a light “snap” sensation. No anesthesia or recovery time is needed — you can resume your daily routine immediately.

How Many Treatments Will You Need?
For most clients, a single IPL session achieves a visible improvement in skin tone and clarity.
In cases of stubborn pigmentation or redness, up to two sessions spaced about four weeks apart may be recommended.
After treatment, you may experience slight redness or temporary darkening of spots - a normal part of the healing process.
To protect and maintain your results, apply a high-SPF sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily and avoid direct sun exposure.
